Les Nuées: Bringing a World of Romance to Life on Video
In spring 2026, I collaborated with Groupe Livre Québecor on a video campaign for Les Nuées, a publishing world devoted to romance. The project highlighted the collection and a call for manuscript submissions, with content designed for social media.
Filming took place in my studio on May 21 with Marike and Pascale. Their contributions gave the project a voice. My work was to film those contributions, then bring them into a video where books, music and graphic elements helped tell the story.
The creative work continued through editing and animation, in collaboration with Raphaëlle. Voices, music and graphic elements responded to one another, giving the campaign its personality and bringing out the books’ world.
Behind this short campaign was a whole journey: the first ideas, the day in the studio and the pleasure of bringing the contributions together around a shared world.
What stays with me from this collaboration is the pleasure of bringing a world of books to life through video. The team’s enthusiastic reactions to the first versions accompanied the work through to the end. It’s a fond memory where filming, animation and editing come together around one project.
