Documentary film
Guillaume Langlois co-directed the photography for the short documentary Greluch, directed by Daphnée Côté-Hallé. Shot over a period of five years, this film paints an intimate portrait of Greluche, the clown alter ego of Isabelle Côté, the director's mother. On the cusp of retirement, Greluche embodies a free and unconventional woman, for whom childhood is eternal thanks to her inner magical forest. The film explores themes of old age, dual identity, and madness, highlighting how imagination becomes a survival mechanism for the woman behind the clown. The photography, by Guillaume Langlois and Raphaël Ouellet, sensitively accompanies this exploration of Greluche's inner world.


Sphere Media
For the Gala Québec Cinéma, Guillaume was approached to create the video announcing the new host of the 2024 edition, Phil Roy. This project is distinguished by its meticulous cinematography, where each shot is designed to captivate and intrigue. The concept, both original and mysterious, plays on anticipation and excitement, perfectly reflecting the energy and spirit of the event. This video offers a dynamic glimpse of the Gala while showcasing Phil Roy in a style that combines subtlety and creativity.


Parade Studio x CNESST
In collaboration with Parade Studio, Guillaume Langlois created a series of videos for the CNESST around the theme "You too, choose to make a difference in the workplace." Designed to support the organization's recruitment efforts, these corporate videos highlight the human values and concrete missions carried out by the CNESST teams. With a sincere and inspiring approach, the series aims to attract new talent by highlighting the real impact each employee can have.


Cold Water Theatre x Prospero
Guillaume Langlois directed the trailer for the play "Bref entretien avec des femmes exceptionnels," produced by Théâtre à l'eau froide and presented at Théâtre Prospero. Through a sober and sensitive staging, the video captures the essence of the show: a series of powerful, intimate, and emotionally charged portraits. This video highlights the power of the text, the quality of the performances, and the unique world of the staging, while arousing the audience's curiosity.


Quebecor Media
Guillaume Langlois accompanied journalist Félix Pedneault to the Côte-Nord region for a series of reports for Quebecor Media's 24 heures. Together, they explored the region's climatic and cultural realities, with a particular focus on the growing phenomenon of van life. Through a sensitive and visually sophisticated documentary approach, this report highlights the environmental issues and alternative lifestyles shaping this part of Quebec. The result: a vibrant and powerful portrait, praised for its accuracy and impact.

Quebecor Media
Guillaume Langlois directed, directed, and supervised the post-production of the web series Projet Cardigan, produced by Québécor Média. This series offers privileged access behind the scenes of the Cardigan project, highlighting the challenges and uncertainties of the architectural profession. Through a careful visual approach and immersive storytelling, each episode reveals the key stages of the architectural process, offering the public a unique perspective on this profession.


Factory C x Fifa 39
Guillaume Langlois was the director of photography for Le Magasin, a hybrid work imagined by Odile Gamache and Philippe Cyr, produced by L’Homme allumette in co-production with Usine C. Presented online during the 39th edition of the International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA), this creation without text or actors offers an aesthetic reflection on the metamorphosis of commerce and its role as a place of material and social exchange. Through a series of scenographic video capsules, Le Magasin offers a poetic immersion in a universe where objects become the protagonists of a visual choreography, testifying to the obsolescence of deserted commercial spaces in the digital age.


Ward & Associates
Guillaume Langlois created a bold and creative video for Halak wine, in collaboration with Ward & Associés. In this visual capsule, the wine bottle comes to life and interacts with humans, expressing unexpected emotions and reactions. The narrative, tinged with dark humor, depicts a mysterious and captivating hockey game, where the line between the animate and the inanimate blurs. This original approach generated significant interest, reinforcing Ward & Associés' avant-garde image in the field of natural wine.


Short dance film
Still Life is a site-specific dance-theater performance featuring two women and two couches in two different cities. One in Berlin, the other in Montreal, the two performers unite through the magic of video to create a clumsy and zany choreography. In a seemingly banal and everyday space, a surreal universe emerges, offering a comical and absurd look at the world around us.


Ward & Associates
For Ward & Associates, a renowned wine import company in Montreal, Guillaume created a series of creative, impactful, and unique videos. These videos break the traditional codes of the wine world, capturing the company's laid-back energy and unapologetically bold attitude. With a vivid and raw visual style, each video reflects Ward & Associates' originality and authenticity, proving that you can excel in wine without taking yourself too seriously.


The Ridm
To mark the 20th anniversary of the Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM), Guillaume Langlois has created a series of original and creative trailers designed to capture the unique essence of documentary cinema. Each trailer was designed to intrigue and pique curiosity, while reflecting the diversity and depth of the films presented. With a striking visual approach and dynamic editing, these videos invite audiences to immerse themselves in captivating stories and explore the world through the lens of documentary.


Cult nation
Guillaume contributed to the direction and editing of four unique music videos, created from the personal archives of his family, the Langlois. Produced by the renowned Cult Nation label, these videos are at once nostalgic, creative, and deeply moving. Each video delves into intimate memories, weaving a touching visual narrative that impresses with its sincerity and inventiveness. A tribute to family memory through a contemporary artistic approach.

Montreal Tourism
To mark Montreal's 375th anniversary, Guillaume Langlois captured the highlights of La grande invitation, a monumental performance by the French company Royal de Luxe. From May 19 to 21, 2017, the city's streets were the scene of a spectacular parade featuring giant puppets, such as the Little Giant, the Diver, and Xolo the dog, attracting over 622,000 spectators. The video, directed by Guillaume Langlois and posted on Facebook, was a resounding success, garnering over 36 million views, demonstrating the worldwide enthusiasm for this unique event. This project illustrates Guillaume Langlois's ability to capture the essence of major cultural moments and share them with a wide audience.


PL Cloutier
Guillaume Langlois was commissioned by PL Cloutier, one of Quebec's most popular influencers, to oversee the post-production of a video recap of his years of online creation. This moving montage accurately retraces his journey, including key moments, personal developments, and memories shared with his community. Driven by a strong dramatic arc and masterful pacing, the video is touching in its sincerity and its ability to convey, in just a few minutes, the richness of a journey he has taken.

Guillaume Langlois directed the trailer and video design for the show Le Plan Astral, a creation by Une Autre Compagnie de Théâtre. Presented at the M.A.I. and MainLine Theatre in 2017, this docu-theatre features four protagonists exploring the world of clairvoyance and the paranormal in search of answers about destiny and belief. The videos integrated into the show, made from sequences filmed during consultations with clairvoyants, offer a visual immersion in this introspective quest. The trailer, meanwhile, captures the essence of this esoteric exploration, blending humor and reflection on contemporary spirituality.

Jimmy Lee x Tourism Montreal
Guillaume Langlois created his first videos for Tourisme Montréal with the Jimmy Lee agency, marking the beginning of a lasting collaboration with the city. Through a series of carefully produced creative projects, he helped shape a strong and contemporary image of Montréal, capturing its energy, light, and diversity. These videos laid the foundation for a strong visual style, blending rhythm, aesthetics, and a sense of place.


Sid Lee
Guillaume Langlois began his career as a professional videographer with the Sid Lee agency, with a major opportunity: creating content for Tourisme Montréal. This first landmark assignment was the starting point for a lasting collaboration that spanned nearly ten years. Through a series of varied projects, he was able to refine his vision, develop his visual signature, and actively contribute to promoting the city throughout the seasons and events.


Cold Water Theater
Guillaume Langlois directed the trailer for Black Swans, a play by Christina Kettering, directed by Daniel D’Amours and presented at the Théâtre Prospero. The video is distinguished by its strong graphic aesthetic, excessive close-ups, and intriguing atmosphere, capturing the essence of this work that explores the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence. Through carefully crafted images and striking visual staging, the trailer reflects the unique universe of the play, highlighting the family tensions and ethical questions at the heart of the plot.


Ward & Associates
Guillaume Langlois created a promotional video for Ward & Associés' Rocket 2019 wine, a vintage with a bold and distinctive character. Shot with a poetic and minimalist approach, the video brings the wine to life through gestures, textures, and some subtle graphic interventions—including hand symbols, integrated with humor and finesse. The result: an elegant, expressive, and slightly irreverent capsule, just like the wine it showcases.


Prospero
Guillaume Langlois directed the trailer for the play The Archimedes Principle, produced by Théâtre à l’eau froide. Filmed for its stage presentation, the video adopts a distinctive visual approach, combining graphic composition, extreme slow motion, and controlled tension. A creative and stylized video that captures the ambiguity and intensity of the subject matter, while establishing an unsettling atmosphere—much like the play itself.


Prospero
Guillaume Langlois directed, directed, and post-produced the trailer for La Maladie de la mort, a stage adaptation of Marguerite Duras's play, directed by Martine Beaulne and presented at the Théâtre Prospero. Driven by performances by Sylvie Drapeau and Paul Savoie, the video is distinguished by its strong graphic aesthetic, evocative close-ups, and subtle visual effects. Conceived as a work in its own right, this trailer was shown in theaters, extending the theatrical experience and inviting the audience to immerse themselves in the sensory and introspective world of the play.


The island
Guillaume Langlois directed the music video "Nocturne" for Montreal artist L'Isle, a work shot at night in Martinique. This poetic video features a dance performance in a single take, capturing the raw beauty and sensuality of movement in a tropical nocturnal setting. Through careful cinematography and minimalist staging, the video reflects the song's introspective universe, evoking wandering, desire, and solitude.


The island
Guillaume Langlois is the director and cinematographer of the music video "La vague" by artist L'ISLE. With a refined yet poetic approach, the video explores the relationship between inner momentum and the movement of the outside world. Through sensitive staging and powerful images, "La vague" visually translates L'ISLE's unique universe, striking a balance between emotional intensity and confident aesthetics.


The Great Trail
In Winnipeg, Guillaume Langlois created a video highlighting the local portion of the Trans Canada Trail, following the journey of Adrian Alphonso, a cycling enthusiast deeply involved in his community. Through his eyes, the video reveals a privileged access to the trail, between urban landscapes and discreet nature. Shot with sensitivity, this video highlights the importance of the trail as a space for connection, balance, and discovery in the heart of the city.
