Mitsou and Instacart

In July 2022, I took part in a project featuring Mitsou for Instacart, directed by Khoa Lê.
I handled cinematography and postproduction, allowing me to follow the project from filming to its final form. My camera work was to support the director’s staging and visually translate the spot’s intention through framing, lighting and camera choices.

The project continued in postproduction, where I could maintain continuity between the recorded images and the final result. It’s an aspect of the work I particularly enjoy: accompanying an idea through different stages of production and helping preserve its coherence from the set to the edit.
My independent filmmaking work often brings me together with small teams that change from one project to the next, on short, agile and sometimes very lightweight productions. That’s also something I deeply love about this profession: discovering new ways of working, entering different worlds and quickly building something together. These encounters, teams and projects continually feed my practice and keep inspiring me.
